When I wanted to do something easy and tasty recipe with paneer, my only choice goes to Kadhai Paneer. compare to other recipe of paneer it seems little easy and quick recipe to me. Since there are lots of option with paneer preparation,like palak paneer,awadhi paneer ,paneer corn korma,paneer peshawari,aloo matar paneer,paneer tikka masala and many more in my blog. Still I am very much positive to do some experiment with paneer preparation. So this is my latest try with paneer. Kadhai paneer a popular dish in North India . And you will find this paneer recipe in most of the north indian restaurants too. So have a look at the recipe of Kadhai paneer. To my best level I tried to match the preparation with restaurant category. Kadhai paneer is a preparation where some colorful capsicum,onion cubes and paneer are sauted in delicious tomato gravy.

Ingredients
- 2 Cups Paneer cubes (soak into salted warm water)
- 1/2 Cup Yellow bell pepper (Cut into cubes)
- 1/2 Cup Red bell pepper (Cut into cubes)
- 1/2 Cup Green bell pepper (Cut into cubes)
- 1/2 Cup Onion (Cut into cubes)
- 1 tsp Ginger paste
- 1 tsp Garlic paste
- 2 medium Tomato puree (blanched)
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Coriander seeds
- 2 Red chili
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 2 Cardamoms
- 1 inch Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Methi/fenugreek leaves
- 1 tbsp Kasuri Methi/dry fenugreek leaves
- 1 tbsp Red chili powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil to cook
- Dry roast all spices (cumin seeds,coriander seeds,methi seeds,red chili,black pepper,cinnamon,cardamom)
- Pound them into mixie
- Add dry kasuri methi and keep aside
- Heat oil in a kadhai.
- Add onion cubes and fry until transparent.
- Add capsicum cubes and fry until soft.
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry for a while.
- Add tomato puree and grounded spices and mix well.
- Add turmeric powder,red chili powder and salt to taste.
- Add paneer cubes and cook for 2 minutes.
- Serve with paratha or roti
