Mahabharat our sacred epic Sanskrit poem of India. Mahabharat is an eternal dharma of Hindu religion which is dealing in many episodes with the struggle between two rival families. Now as this epic contains long 18 episodes so most of us have a brief idea about Mahabharat from the resource of electronic media at all . But I want to give a special Thanks to the writer Bishnupada Chakraborty of this book . Thanks for such a great researched estimation of our great Epic ! After reading this edition of Mahabharat , I feel Mahabharat is a short tale only ! Now what does good enough from this?

But I have a great interest in this Epic ! And it is also true that I am a book worm too. I have a strong positive emotion of regard and affection about ancient History . As a result I found this book from father in law who is also an ardent follower and admirer of books. He insisted me to read this book . He only bought this book from Kolkata and send it to me by courier in Bangalore. Thank you Baba (father-in-law). These days my life is going very hectic so I got some times when my son does music class , I spend my times with this book outside of the classroom ! I enjoyed a lot ! While reading this book I get emotional by thinking to write some words about this book in my blog to share with you !
I am just falling in love with this book .And get excited to think that I possess much knowledge about Mahabharat too.

Introduction has been written by late Sunil Gangopadhyay who was himself a legend . And I must say it is 'Outstanding' in a word ! From introduction only you will get an overall interesting ideas about the book like who have any idea about the character of Jujutshu ? Who knows about Bidur ? Both were played an important role in Mahabharat but we are not aware !

The original epic had been created by Ved Vyas and it had been created before 5000 years ago from now , still it has a great royal contemporary values in the present days . It is just incredible !

From this book you will get an elaborate ideas on Mahabharat , because it contains full 18 episodes in brief language. And it is unsaid truth that gist of these episodes are full of interesting illustrations what make you compelled to read this book continuously .
