Tiramishu Sandesh | A Fusion Sweet

Tiramisu , hope you heard it before. So first of all sharing little more about Tiramisu .Tiramisu is an Italian dessert. Basically the recipe has been adapted into many varieties of pudding cake and other dessert. Origin wise it is a layered dessert consisting of soaked coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of egg yolks and mascarpone cheese and flavored with cocoa. But what do you feel if it gives some mix and match with Indian dessert? Nice right?  Here is the recipe of that kind of fusion dessert which came out just fabulous after trying at home. One more thing , do you know the meaning of Sandesh? Sandesh meaning is same for Bengali,Sanskrit & Hindi. Basically sandesh meaning is News. In earlier days when somebody was visiting to their relative house or any other occasion with any good news, they used to carry some sweets too. From then some kind of sweets named Sandesh. And for recipe source it is from one of favorite Bengali Magazine which is specially for women only  name"Sananda " .Very popular magazine it is in Bengal. And the recipe itself is from one of famous Sweet manufacturing company also. So no way to ignore it. But I made little changed according to my choice.So i tried for upcoming festive The Bengali New Year. Yes tomorrow is Bengali New Year & I think  to celebrate New Year , this is a great idea to try some fusion dessert . It was just awesome. So try this ingredients are very few and common. No hard to find in market also. So lets try it...




Tiramisu Sandesh | A Fusion Dessert


Recipe by Nabanita Das
Prep time: 10 mins
Cook time: 5 mins

Ingredients
  • 2 tsp Instant Coffee
  • 1 Cup Indian Chana / paneer/ Cottege cheese
  • 1/2 Cup Condensed Milk
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate sauce
  • 1 pinch green cardamom powder
  • 2 tsp White chocolate chips
Cooking Directions

To make chana :
Boil 500 ltr milk when boiling ,squeeze 2 tbsp lemon juice ,when all the milk turns into dumpling, & green color water can be seen ,strain it with strainer. Chana is ready.

Now
  1. Put one non-stick pan on gas stove.
  2. Add chana,sugar & green cardamom powder mix well cook for 10-15 mins. Stir continuously in simmer.
  3. Keep aside to make it cool.
  4. Give a shape as per your choice.
  5. Prepare black coffee.
  6. Mix black coffee liquor with chocolate sauce. keep aside.
  7. Take small size cleared plastic material glasses or cups.
  8. Pour chocolate sauce into the glass,
  9. Then layer with sandesh.
  10. Pour milk maid over the sandesh.
  11. Then pour liquor mix which you made before.
  12. Sprinkle white chocolate chips and keep into refrigerators for sometimes.
  13. Serve Chill.
