Vada Curry | A South Indian Delicacy | SNC Event

Hi friends again this is a posting for Current month SNC event Organised by Divya Pramil. Vada Curry a Tipical south indian delicacy which I come to know after joining In SNC team. Its really a nice experience to me. And I enjoyed it truly. In this month challenge came from Ramya for North Team. As I belong to North team so Vada Curry is serving for you. And I must say its really wonderful in taste too. Thanks to SNC.




Ingredients :

For Making Vada 

Bengal Gram 3 cups
Fennel seeds 1 tbsp
Red Chili 4 nos
Garlic 4 cloves
Salt to taste
Oil as required

For Curry :

Onion 1 finely chopped
Tomato 1 finely chopped
Green Chili 2 nos
Chili powder 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder 2 tsp
Garam Masala 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Water as required 
Coriander Leaves for garnishing.

For seasoning :

Mustard Seeds 1 tbsp
Fennel Seeds 1 tbsp
Cinnamon 1 stick




Method :

Soak bengal gram for overnight.
Grind Bengal gram with vada ingredients except Oil.
Fry vada till golden brown.
Crumble vada and set aside.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add Mustard seeds,Fennel seeds and cinnamon stick.
Add Chopped onion and fry for sometimes.
Add Tomato,green chili and fry for 2 mins.
Add turmeric powder and Chili powder,Garam masala cook until oil comes out.
Add seasoning and required water.
Gravy come into boil.
Add crumbled vada into curry.
Garnish with finely coriander leaves. 
Now Vada Curry is ready to serve.
