One more Happy moment we are sharing through Republic Day.Another day for Flag hosting, Parade and Jana Gana Mana song. A Day for Giving Thanks and Salute to India. So A great Honour To India from Me to My India. 

Now over to Today's recipe. Tri-Ranga Rice one Fusion recipe which I prepared specially for this Republic Day. But still I believe in Universal values. In my mind its always rising that we are same. So this is the recipe from my heart core to whole Universe. A fusion rice recipe included both spices from India and Outside India. 



In this Tri-Ranga rice I named like :
Tomato Tamarind Rice
Plain Boiled Rice
Coriander Spinach Rice

In Tomato Tamarind Rice I use little twist combo between India and Italian.
In Plain Boiled Rice I use only simple plain boiled rice which we cook everyday.
In Coriander Spinach Rice I use very common spices from India only.

Cooking Time : 30 min.
Serves  : 2 Peoples

Ingredients :

Basmati Rice 2 cups.

For Tomato Tamarind Rice ( Orange Rice ):

Boiled Tomato 2 big size.Grind and Strained it.
Tamarind Pulp 1 tbsp.
Cumin Seeds 1 tsp.
Coriander Seeds 1 tsp.
Dry Oregano 1 tsp.
Dry Parsley 1 tsp.
Black Peppercorn powder 1/2 tsp.
Garlic chopped 2 tbsp.
Chili Flakes 1 tsp.
Spring Onion chopped 2 tbsp. 
Salt to taste.
Olive oil 2 tbsp.

For Plain Boiled Rice as you cook regularly. Instead of Plain rice you can use also Jeera Rice / Cumin Rice ( White Rice)too.

For Coriander Spinach Rice ( Green Rice ):

Blanch Spinach paste 1/4 cup.
Coriander Leaves Paste 1/3 cup.
Ginger paste 1 tsp.
Cumin seeds roasted powder 1 tsp.
Coriander seeds roasted powder 1 tsp.
Black Peppercorn 1 tsp.
Lemon juice 2 tsp.
Salt to taste.
White oil 2 tbsp.

Method :

Cook Rice in Microwave Mode on High Power for 18 min.

Within this time period prepare Spicy Paste for Rice.

Tomato Tamarind Rice 

Heat olive oil .
Add cumin seeds,coriander seeds,black peppercorn and chopped garlic.
Add Tomato Puree and Tamarind pulp and cook until oil comes out.
Add salt to taste.
Add Rice and mix well.
Sprinkle Oregano,Parsley and Chili flakes to it and Mix well.
Before serving sprinkle spring onion.
Tomato Tamarind Rice is ready to serve.

Coriander Spinach Rice 

Heat white oil .
Add ginger paste.
Add blanch spinach and cook for 3-4 mins.
Add coriander paste and roasted cumin powder,roasted coriander powder.
Cook until oil comes out.
Salt to taste.
Add cooked rice and mix well.
Sprinkle black peppercorn and lemon juice .
Coriander Spinach Rice is ready to serve.

Now you can decorate and serve as per your choice. 
So one Healthy and Special rice is ready for you. Hope you will like it. Now enjoy.
