Today sharing one more Daal recipe. Daal or Lentil a must one side dish which is really rich in Vitamins and Proteins. No doubt about this Daal is a Healthy Food for everyday life. Ingredients :
Moong Daal 1 cup.
Red Lentils / Masoor Daal 1/2 cup.
Onion finely chopped 2 tbsp.
Green chili finely chopped 1 tsp.
Coriander Leaves finely chopped 4 tbsp.
Garlic finely chopped 3 tbsp.
Cumin seeds 2 tsp.
Capsicum slice 1/2 cup.
Salt to taste.
Turmeric powder 1 tsp.
Oil 3 tbsp.
Method :
Wash both of the daal.
Pressure cook daal with little salt and turmeric powder.
Add adequate water to it and Mix well.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan.
Add chopped onion,fry till transparent.
Add Capsicum slice and daal.
Adjust seasoning.
Cover and cook for 2 mins.put off gas.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a tarka pan.
Add Cumin seeds and chopped garlic.
Pour Tarka or Temper into the daal.
Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and chopped green chili.
Cover with a lid immediately.
Serve with warm rice and french fry simply.
