Daal Fry | Restaurant Style North Indian Daal Recipe

Today sharing one more Daal recipe. Daal or Lentil a must one side dish which is really rich in Vitamins and Proteins. No doubt about this Daal is a Healthy Food for everyday life. But if you think about taste, so there are so many variety in Daal Recipes. North Indian Style is the Best one for me. Trust me its really a taste worthy . After a rich eating Food habit I always prefer to eat little light foods. In that case My choice is very simple like Plain rice, Daal Fry and French Fries only nothing else. Hope you all are agree with me! So one simple healthy and tasty Restaurant Style North Indian Daal Recipe is here for you. I am sure you will like it. But you  have to follow the technique,not only the ingredients for the perfect aroma of the Daal. Try this version.





Ingredients :

Moong Daal 1 cup.
Red Lentils / Masoor Daal 1/2 cup.
Onion finely chopped 2 tbsp.
Green chili finely chopped 1 tsp.
Coriander Leaves finely chopped 4 tbsp.
Garlic finely chopped 3 tbsp.
Cumin seeds 2 tsp.
Capsicum slice 1/2 cup.
Salt to taste.
Turmeric powder 1 tsp.
Oil 3 tbsp.

Method :

Wash both of the daal.
Pressure cook daal with little salt and turmeric powder.
Add adequate water to it and Mix well.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan.
Add chopped onion,fry till transparent.
Add Capsicum slice and daal.
Adjust seasoning.
Cover and cook for 2 mins.put off gas.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a tarka pan.
Add Cumin seeds and chopped garlic.
Pour Tarka or Temper into the daal.
Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and chopped green chili.
Cover with a lid immediately.
Serve with warm rice and french fry simply.
