Missi Roti | Indian Flat Bread | Rajasthani Roti


This evening one more Rajasthani Dish I want to share with you.. This is another Main Dish from Rajasthan. Missi Roti a combination of Whole wheat flour and Besan. Its included some spices which smells So nice I cannot explain you. I got this recipe from one of My Favorite Bengali Magazine Sananda. This is Special Magazine for women. There are so many categories for women. In Cooking section there are so many recipes which I tried for many times. And it comes out successfully . Thanks To Sananda for this recipe collections. Now this Missi Roti you can serve with any kind of Curries or Salads. It is  just superb in taste. I like it very much. Hope you will also like it. Check this Out...







Ingredients :

  • Atta or Whole wheat flours 1 cup
  • Beasan or Bengal Gram flours 1 cup.
  • Coriander leaves finely chopped 4 tbsp.
  • Cumin Powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 and 1/2 tsp.
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp.
  • Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
  • Curd 1/2 cup.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Carom seeds 1 tsp.
  • Oil 1 tbsp.
  • Butter 6 tsp.

Method :

  • Mix All the ingredients except Butter nicely.
  • Add little water and mix well.
  • Make a dough with that mixture.
  • Form 5 balls from the dough.
  • Make round shape by Your Hands only from each of the ball.[As much you can]
  • Heat tawa and roast the both sides of the Roti.
  • After roasting add little Butter and shallow fry until brown in color.
  • Now Missi Roti is ready to serve.
  • Serve with Salads and any Paneer Gravy as well with Vegetables Curry.
