Spinach Poori | Palak Poori
Prep time: 45 mins
Cook time: 15 mins
Ingredients
- 3 cups Wholewheat flours
- 1 Cup Spinach Puree
- 1 tsp Ginger Paste
- 2 pinch Asafoetida
- 2 tbsp + Deep fry white oil
- Salt to taste
- 2 Green chili
- 2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 Medium size Tomato
To make Spinach puree :
- Blanch Spinach with tomato & make a paste with green chili & ginger into mixture.
- For Poori :
- Add salt,cumin seeds,asafoetida, 2 tbsp oil consecutively with wholewheat flours.Mix well.
- Now add the spinach puree into it and make a soft dough with adequate water.
- Keep it to set for 20-30 min.
- Now make little balls from the dough and prepare like a poori with the help of roll pin.
- Heat oil for deep frying.
- Fry poori until little brown in color.
- Serve Poori with raita, pickle or with any delicious vegetables.
