Pasta a famous dish in all over the World.It is basically a traditional Italian delicacy. Nowadays we the Indian are very fond of some Italian cuisines like Pizza,Pasta ,Risotto and Lasanga. Though it varies from original taste to Indian version, still we are just loving it. Pasta is a kind of Italian Noodles which can be prepared with variety sauces and herbs. For very rare dishes we are adding some veggies with this dish too. It depends.
There are so many variety of pastas are available in the market. It has different different names and shapes too. Like Macaroni, Spaghetti, Fettucine, Large Shell etc etc.I do not go with that variety basically, whatever I want to make I buy.No choices at all.
So Dear today sharing a common Pasta dish name Pasta in white sauce. We like it very much.Its very easy to prepare also. Usually I prepare it in Pressure Cooker.So it takes very little time to prepare.And of course I serve it as a Breakfast item. Pasta In white Sauce | Italian Dish
Prep time: 5 min
Cook time: 15 mins
Ingredients
- 200 gm Pasta
- 1 tbsp All purpose flours
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 2 cups Milk
- 2 tsp Oregano
- 2 tsp Chili flakes
- 2 tsp Tomato sauce/ store bought pasta sauce(optional)
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- Boil pasta with 2 cups water and salt in pressure cooker.(see tip)
- Heat Butter in a pan add all purpose flours until fragrant comes.
- Add Milk and stir the mixture continuously to avoid lumps and burning.
- When the sauce is little thick and done add salt,garlic powder and boiled pasta.
- Mix well.
- It will be in a creamy consistency.
- Now serve in a bowl.
- Sprinkle oregano,chili flakes & tomato sauce.
- Serve immediately.
- Tip : You can add little more butter before serving to give more buttery flavor.
- Tip : Up to 5 whistles and open it immediately strain excess water and marinate with olive oil.
