Spicy Okra | Rajasthani Bhindi | Restaurant style

Spicy Okra or Spicy Ladies Finger. Whatever you say. Its same. Its Really an Interesting simple and quick Recipe I ever made. But about to taste its just like Restaurant Style Masala Bhindi. Tradition wise it Varies. But I prepare little in Rajasthan style. For this particular recipe some special spices are require. But I must these spices are very common. So to make it more quickly usually I prepare this spices for long term basis in quantity wise and store it into for 1 month at least. Its really a easy job for me. And this spice is not only useful for this particular recipe also. With This spices you can easily made one more tasty preparation i.e. Dry Gobi Masala or Spicy Gobi. Trust me its just awesome. In Any kind of Dry spicy veg preparation you can try this spice also it brings a different taste in your taste buds. So friends try this Simply Vegan Spicy Okra right now.

Ingredients
  • 20 Medium size Okra
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 4 tbsp White Oil
  •  Salt to taste
Ingrdients For Spice
  • 2 tbsp Gram flour/besan
  • 1 tsp Dry Mango Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder (Roasted)
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder (Roasted)
  • 2 tsp Garam Masala powder(Cloves,Green Cardamom,Cinnamon) 
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida
  • 2 tbsp Oil

Cooking Directions
For Spice:

Mix all the spices together like gram flour,dry mango powder,red chili powder,Roasted cumin powder,roasted coriander powder,garam masala,Red chili powder,turmeric powder,asafoetida ,1 tbsp oil and mix well.

Roast that mixture a lightly on Tawa.



Now it can be store into air tight container for long time using purpose.

Spicy Okra Cooking Directions:
  1. Wash okra thoroughly.
  2. Cut the top and tails of each okra and slit it into lengthwise.
  3. Heat rest of the oil in a Kadai or Pan.
  4. Add Okra and little salt. Saute a while and cover it until okra gets tender.
  5. Now add ready spices to it and mix well.
  6. Adjust seasoning and fry for sometimes.
  7. When color of the spices will be changing and okra becoming dry and soft switch off the gas.
  8. Spicy Okra is ready.
  9. Serve with warm Plain Rice.
