Whatever you say the Fact is that it is a healthy food for all of us. I got this recipe from one of my Favorite Bengali Cook . She is a great cook since long time. In every bengali family she is one of the greatest culinary expert when I was too small too. No one she is Bela Dey. This soup recipe is from her collections.Lovely Recipe. I tried with little change and my kid loved it very much. But some peoples may do not love Mushroom. For them it is just surprised ! They can never feel like Mushroom at all. In my family my Husband is that kind of people who is very unwilling to eat Mushroom. But when I prepared this one.He said its just amazing! So its a really a good one. Creamy Mushroom Soup
Prep time: 10 mins.
Cook time: 15 mins.
Ingredients
- 250 gm Mushroom
- 2 tsp Onion finely Chopped
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Paste
- 1 and 1/2 cup Chicken Stock/Vegetables stock
- 50 gm Butter
- 2 tsp Cornflour
- 1/2 cup Thick Cream
- 2 tsp White Pepper Powder
- 1 tsp Ginger Juices
- 3 tbsp Coriander leaves Chopped
- 1 medium size Tomato chopped
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1/2 Cup Cheese Grated
- Washed Mushroom thoroughly and wipe it with dry cloths.
- Chop mushroom in small small pieces.
- Heat Butter in a pan.
- Add Chopped Onion,Garlic,Tomato and Coriander leaves.Saute for a while.
- Mix cornflour and Milk together.
- Add corn-milk mixture slowly slowly and stir continuously.
- Add Chicken stock or Vegetables Stock slowly.
- Adjust seasoning .
- Now add ginger juice .
- Let it be boil.
- Before switching off gas stove add fresh thick cream and white pepper powder.
- When serving add grated cheese and serve.
