Paneer Thick Gravy | Quick Paneer Masala


Sometimes you have to make some quick recipe also with some easily available ingredients . Paneer is such a ingredient . You can make variety of Paneer dishes with this ingredients . And no need to say you also try out many recipes with paneer . Here is one of my quick recipe which you can serve with any kind of rice variety , like JeeraRice , SahiPulav , SahiFriedRice as well with Ajwain Paratha , Missi Chapathi / Missi Roti also . Only things you need to check your Pantry , what you have left there to make such delicious gravy !! In this recipe I found whatever I have used those to make this gravy . Few items and you have done your lunch and dinner as well if there is any sudden guest arriving , you are on with this gravy . 




Ingredients:

  • 10 pcs. Paneer cubes
  • 1 Big Onion(chopped)
  • 3-4 Garlic Cloves (chopped)
  • 1 tsp Ginger Paste
  • 1 Big Capsicum(chopped)
  • 2 Big Tomato (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Curd
  • 3 tsp Cashew Paste
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala (sahi)
  • 1/2 tsp Whole Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Dhaniya/Coriander Powder
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 2 Dry Red Chili
  • 6-7 tbsp Oil 
  • 2 spoon Butter
  • Chopped Coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  • Heat Oil in a Fry pan, add Red Chili , Bay leaves and Cumin seeds .
  • Add Chopped Onion, Ginger and Garlic and Tomato saute for a while .
  • Mix all spices like Garam Masala,Dhaniya Powder, Red chili powder, Turmeric powder, Cashew Paste and curd together .
  • Add this mixture and saute until oil comes out .
  • While done keep aside to make it cool and make a paste of that masala .
  • Add the mixture and 1/2 cup warm water to it . 
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Add chopped capsicum.
  • Let boil comes .
  • Add Paneer cubes to it. Mix well .
  • And garnish with butter and chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot delicious Paneer Gravy with Rice Or Paratha.

*** Though do not like tofu , but if you are health conscious then you can try out the same recipe adding Tofu/Soya Paneer also.
