Parwal Stuffed Curry | Pawtoler Dorma | Traditional Bengali Recipe | Veg Recipe

A delicious and yummy bengali dish is Parwal Stuffed curry.I usually do it at Home… and whenever I do this, carrying a special Thanks from My Husband. Wow….
This is such a dish which is very time consuming but tasty so much…
I want to share the recipe of it with you… again I am telling that… it is time consuming process…and I will explain it step by step…
Just Enjoy cooking…





It should be look like this after making the following things....


INGREDIENTS 

For Stuffing :

Coconut grated 1 tbsp
Poppy seeds paste 1 tbsp
Green chili chopped 1 tsp
Coriander leaves chopped 2 tsp
Mustard oil 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Bengal gram flour / maida 4 tbsp


Parwal 3-4 pcs.
Onion Seeds 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Garam masala powder/ Cardamom 1-2 , Cinnamon 1-2
Ghee 1 tsp
Oil to fry 4 tbsp


Else you can try with maida paste.

Method 
  • Mix all the ingredients for stuffing.
  • Cut middle of the Parwal in squre shape.
  • Keep aside the cut pcs.
  • Clean the inside of Parwal to bring out the seeds all.
  • Fill the stuff into the Parwal.
  • Close the cut pcs. with some gram flour batter.
  • Make all the parwal as described.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Fry all stuffed Parwal with very care.
  • Keep aside.
After finishing all stuffing, keep aside it for some times...

To make Curry 

  • Soak cumin powder,turmeric powder,red chilli powder in some little water.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add onion seeds to it.
  • When it starts to sprinkle,add masala mixed to it.
  • Cook until oil comes out.
  • Add some warm water.
  • Cook for some times.
  • Add Fried Parwal.
  • Cover with a lid for some times.
  • Add garam masala powder and ghee.
  • Cover with a lid.




***** Serve Parwal Stuffed Curry with warm Rice...
