Soyabeans Kofta Curry | Soya Bean Recipe

Today I am going to share with you a recipe of kofta(balls of minced or ground vegetables) which has been made with soya beans granules. Koftas are very popular dish in India. Koftas can be made in various process in different flavours.When Deep fried veggie balls in gravy it is called Kofta curry.Today I tried it some different way where I used Soya beans granules to make it different in taste.Here,Soya beans granules is used with potato and some veggies.You can use soya beans balls by grinding in a mixture.After making koftas you can make curry
in your own process as you like.I make this curry some spicy with garam masala and ghee.So check out This Soya beans Kofta Curry...




Ingredients :

Soyabeans granules 1 cup
Potato(boiled)
Onion 1 small sized (chopped)
Green Chili 2-3(chopped)
Ginger (grated)
Garlic (grated)
Coriander leaves (chopped)
Tomato 2 (chopped)
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1tsp
Garam masala powder 1/2tsp(only cinnamon and cardamom)
Red chili powder 1tsp
Oil to fry
Ghee 1tsp
Bay leaves 1-2

Method :

Soak soyabeans granules in little water.
Add boiled potato and smash it very well.
Add chopped onion,green chili,ginger,garlic and coriander leaves and salt to taste.
Make a dough of these.
Make 3-4 balls from this dough.
Heat oil in a pan.
Deep fry all the balls and keep aside.
Soak turmeric powder,cumin powder and red chili powder in some water.
Heat little oil in a pan.
Add bay leaves and tomato to it.
Fry for sometimes.
Add soaked masala and cook for sometimes.
Add ome water and come in to boil.
Add Koftas.
Add ghee and garam masala to it.
Give it some standing times.
And serve with warm rice.
