Have you ever tried this fabulous Italian Snack Calzone Pockets ? Its just yumm... Calzone means stockings which is an Italian filled oven bread,shaped as a folded pizza. Sandwich sized calzone made me just wondered instead of pizza nowadays. Its tangy sweet tastes are really awesome. And I hope its a lovable snack to everyone. Though it has so many variation country wise. Still its mouthwatering.
I prepared it with my style. And homemade version was hit in my house too. It becomes a tremendous recipe for my whole family. First of all I tasted it in Domino's . Then I had curious about to make it at home. So I tried and my experience was awesome. Full of cheese,sauce and paneer stuff was just lip-smacking.
Kids to oldies everyone will love it definitely. So try this snack at your home make a super duper wonders for your family.

Preparation Time : 30 mins
Cooking Time : 30 min
Serves : 4
Ingredients :
For Stuffing :
1 Sliced Onion
1/2 tsp garlic chopped
1 medium size Capsicum chopped
1 Paprika chopped
1 Cup Paneer cubes
2 tbsp maida
1/2 Cup milk
1/2 Cup Cheese grated
2 tbsp Mayonnaise
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
1 tbsp Butter
Salt to taste
For Base :
2 Cups Maida
2 tsp Dry yeast (soak into lukewarm water for 5 mins.)
1 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
Cooking Direction :
For making Stuff :
Heat butter in a pan.
Add onion garlic and saute a little.
Add capsicum and paprika and saute a little.
Add paneer and fry them for a while.
Now sprinkle maida/flour,milk,grated cheese,oregano,black pepper and salt and mix them well.
Bring it to boil.
Now add mayonnaise,mix well and keep aside.
For Making Pockets :
Put maida in a bowl.
Add all other ingredients and knead into a soft dough with enough water.
Cover the dough with wet cloth and allow it to make doubles in volumes.
Again press a little and divide into 2 equal portions.
Roll each portion into a circle and cut from the medium portion.(as shown in the collage pic.)
Put little portion of the stuff on the 1/2 parts of the base.
Add little more grated cheese to make extra cheesy.
Fold it as shown in pic.
And seal the edges of the pockets firmly.
Prick both sides of the pockets.
Bake @200 c for about 10 mins.
Sprinkle little salt and oregano top of the pockets to add more flavor .
Serve immediately .
