Yesterday, our family came together to observe the sacred festival of Maha Shivratri, a day dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva. As we have done for generations, we followed the traditional Hindu rituals and customs, filling our home with devotion, love, and delicious food. The day began with a refreshing start, as we kicked off our celebrations with a rejuvenating smoothie, coconut water, and mixed fruits juices. This revitalizing breakfast set the tone for a day filled with spiritual reflection and merriment. As the day progressed, we observed the traditional Hindu rituals, including puja and meditation. Our home was filled with the sound of chanting and the fragrance of incense sticks, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The highlight of our celebrations was, of course, the dinner.
