Paneer Corn Korma | Vegetarian Recipe

Friends here is I got another opportunity to Thank Gayathri. Gayathri from Gayathri cook spot, because today which I am going to share with you is from Tarla Dalal Magazine Cooking and More which I won in the last month from WTML for Kesari Badami Kulfi in Honey. It is really an informative magazine with good stuffs of recipes and healthy eating habits and more... Thanks to Gayathri... I loved to read and Cook it ...

When I got this magazine in my hand I could not resist myself to try them out. Whatever left in my pantry, these are common like paneer and corn. I choose the recipe of Paneer Corn Korma, never tried before. So tried it and it was just superb I think. We all enjoyed it. Love to try many more home made recipes from Tarla Dalal magazine day by day. So now sharing this flavorful Paneer Corn Korma recipe , but  I gave little and touch to it...so I changed this version a little. Hope you will like it...So try it now.

Its a protein rich healthy recipe. At the same time it is tasty too.If you make it , I am sure you will like it.

Paneer Corn Korma | Vegetarian Recipe

Cook time: 10 mins

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup Freshly grated coconut
  • 2 tsp Poppy seeds
  • 6-8 Cashew nuts
  • 3-4 green chili chopped
  • 5 tsp Oil
  • 15 Cubes Paneer/Cottage Cheese
  • 1/2 Cup Sliced onion
  • 1 Cup Tomato Chopped
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 Cup Curd
  • 3/4 Cup Sweet Corn Kernel (boiled)
  • 1-2 Green Cardamoms
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Coriander Leaves chopped

Cooking Directions

For the Masala :
  1. Heat Kadai and dry roast all the masala ingredients .
  2. add green chili and water now blend in a mixer till smooth.
For Gravy :
  1. Heat water with little salt and turmeric.
  2. Now add paneer cubes to it , soak for 15 mins.
  3. Heat 2 tsp oil , add chopped onion and fry until golden brown .
  4. Add tomato and saute for a while.
  5. Add little salt and let it be cool for sometimes.
  6. Blend in a mixer until smooth paste.
  7. Combined prepared masala with this onion tomato paste.
  8. Heat rest of the oil and cardamom powder to it.
  9. Add paste and other dry spices like red chili,turmeric powder,coriander powder and curd saute for a while.
  10. Adjust water and salt to it.
  11. Now add paneer and corn let it cook for 2-3 mins.
  12. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with paratha or rice.
