Watermelon Lemonade | A Summer Drink

Its summer time and that means again a season for water and fruit juice. Similarly a time for Watermelons. A fresh watermelon contains 6% sugar and 92% water by its weight. A good source of water so it can quench one's thirst too. Above all watermelon is a good source of Vitamins and Minerals too. It contains Vitamin C and a huge amount of Potassium and lycopene. Vitamin C helps to improve your immune system which is an necessary element for all human beings for these days. Potassium is very good for nervous system and Lycopene which is an antioxidant that may protect your major health too. As conclusion watermelon contains a good Nutritional Facts.

A fresh watermelon juice will keep you healthy and cool too. To make it more convenient in taste I have done little mix and match , hope you will like definitely. So check out the recipe here 



Watermelon Juice | Summer Drink


Recipe by Nabanita Das
Prep time: 10 mins
Cook time: 5 mins

Ingredients
  • 500 gms Watermelon
  • 4 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 Cups Soda (Kingfisher Club soda/Laher Soda)
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Black Salt
  • 1 tsp Chat Masala / Jaljeera / Salad Powder
  • 1 twig Pudina / Mint leaves
Cooking Directions
  1. Separate seeds from watermelon juice by using Food processor or juicer.
  2. Add soda and lemon juice to it.
  3. Pour into serving glass.
  4. Add sugar and black salt as per your taste buds .
  5. Sprinkle chat masala or jaljeera powder or Salad Powder.
  6. Decorate with mint twig.
  7. Serve chill.
